This hot fudge sauce was one of the components of a Swiss Swirl Ice Cream Cake, the July Daring Bakers Challenge.Yield: 2 cups
Ingredients:
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions:
Whisk the sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and water together in a small saucepan.
Heat over medium, stirring constantly, until the sauce begins to thicken (about 2 minutes).
Remove from heat and mix in the butter and vanilla.
